Instructions

  1. Create a fire using about 25 charcoal briquettes.

  2. Once the briquettes are glowing red, place 10 in the bottom tray of the Bushbak.

  3. Place the remaining coals on top of the Bushbak.

  4. Slide your prepared loaf or dish into the oven tray.

  5. Cooking times vary, but a standard loaf of bread will bake in around 60 minutes.

  6. Check occasionally and adjust coals as needed for steady heat.

 

Care and safety notes

  • Always place the Bushbak on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

  • Use braai gloves or tongs when handling hot trays or coals.

  • Allow the oven to cool completely before cleaning or storing.

  • Wipe clean with a soft cloth – avoid abrasive cleaners to preserve the aluminium finish.
